I do not work with the Davison chart, no. I do synastry, composites, progressed composites (and natal, Solar Returns, Event charts). But I focus on relationship astrology most of the time.

For you to begin, though, I believe quite strongly in reading as much as you can (in real books; not just online, which is a very haphazard approach, unfortunately). Then, if you’re really interested, take classes.

would conjunct jupiter (16.39 cancer) be the kind of stress you mentioned? – i would think jupi is/was not a “fond of the girls”. and maybe to have this planet in conjunction with part of marriage (14.36 cancer), could produce multiple marriages. its also sextile my moon-pluto-uranus-stellium (13.11, 16.33, 16.56 in virgo) and trine pieces-lilith (12.23).
with stress i think more of squares and as you wrote opposites are the most difficult. but there is nothing like that to my part of marriage. and my natal saturn-square-venus wants to have serious and just one marriage. and i feel my moon-pluto-uranus really needs intensity and transformation which only comes with time and real deep exchange, which, for me, is not possible in an surface-exchange. i am very crabby, because of sun 28, jupiter 16, mars 7, MC 9 in cancer and i feel my venus as cancer-venus because she is in gemini but i have nothing the lots of cancer really coulours her strongly cancerian. i need to feel save to open – which also meens i need time with somebody. i love to talk which is the most gemini she has. but i dont feel any interest in venus-gemini acitivities as i found anywhere, but instead much cancer-things.
and i also feel able to work on relationships, maybe, because of my natal saturn trine sun. my parents lived an interesting example because both of them had (my father 4 and my mother 5) planets in aquarius – sun-conj-sun and venus-conj-venus/mercury. and they builded a stable 35-years-marriage and stable home for us three children until fathers death. stability with so much unpredictible air! with a composite made of squares – a lot of fighting… (good example for the complexity of charts and combines where i see how much i dont know and, where an expierienced astrologer like you come into play to really understand….)

whats interesting to this first part of marriage is, that, as you wrote, when i met that man, transiting-saturn was exact opposite his part of marriage (the one) which is exact opposite his natal saturn. so he also was living his saturn return and his part of marriage is trine our composite sun. (so transiting saturn at that time, was also sextile our compo-sun).
but as i took a look at the other parts of marriage, if i would work with the second one, would find mine at 0,51 leo which is conjunct composite/combin venus (ruler of ac) and his second part of marriage at 11.45 virgo conjunct dc-ruler mars. so i see what you could mean when you say, doesnt matter which one we use, just the same for both.
so on my one, we have the combin-saturn in conjunction.

i am not sure, but i have in my back, that you dont use combins, only composites. is that correct? and if yes, why do you not work with the davidson?

and, have you planed to write about transits to combin/composite?

and, i think it would be important when progressed combin sun is changing signs? and less later transiting natal combin-ac? what orbs do you use in combins/composites?

and what about first meeting chart? what does it tell?

So I would suggest that you focus only on the “first” Part of Marriage, and just consider that to be your Part of Marriage. If you need the information on separate marriages, I would look to the synastry, rather than to the state of your Part of Marriage, although, not having seen your chart, I can’t usefully speculate. It’s possible your Part of Marriage is under a lot of stress. I just don’t know.

marriage: ac + cusp 7 – venus: woman 14.36 cancer – man 20.59 aries
marriage of woman 1: ac + saturn – venus = 7.05 cancer
marriage of man 1: ac + venus – saturn = 7.27 leo
marriage of woman 2: ac + mars – moon = 0.51 leo
marriage of man 2: ac + venus – sun = 11.45 virgo

so my last question: which two ones would you consider as being of importance?

and i want to say, that there are few astrologers which i found in internet who seem to have a real good feeling combined with knowledge and wisdom to bring a question to the point. one of my learnings these days is, to decide by myself und to “judge” a situation by myself. i would love to get a reading from you, but it squares my responsibility for this learning to be independent and to not let somebody be involved to much. i was so dependent of others, and since pluto conjunct IC i really have to learn to feel me, think by myself, that i cant pass responsibility for my live and my decisions onto others. (not onto parents, or children, or therapists, or teachers, nor astrologers…)
but i also dont want to get knowing for free. thats why i am new in paypal. so please let me know, if my questions get so much, that you need to have a energy-exchange for your shared infos.

as an example, right now i need to make the best in a very difficult working-situation. since i tried to build my lost base (financial, home, people) again, i started to work in a home for children age 7 to 17 (being taken away from their parents because of their own and their parents behaviour – abused, aggressive, lost, fierceless) – surrounded by saturnian and plutonian collegues (not the healing-transformative-form thus the controlling, fearful, pressuring-form) in a system who is trying to resist every form of change because of the fear to loose control.
being confronted with people who use methods which i, with my naive ressourceful-self-relation-therapy-background, thought are way back behind us in the black-pedagogical-aera. children withdrawn from their parents and from every contact to the outer world. controled with hundreds of rules for each step they need to take even when they go to the toilet. contronted with verbal ful force aggression and force-aggression over their bodies sometimes (they dont beat, but strapp them for hours – a man against a 7-year-old on a cold floor to protect the child from his self-hurting-behaviour). a team of child-care-workers (absurd) which work toghether and share the we-need-to-pull-at-the-same-string in order to make good people out of this deviant young people that they are able to participate in our comunity, with lots of help from the pharma-industry, giving out strong downers like candys….

so, thats my uncontrolable present….

but, – maybe there is one thing that i can control or calculate – the part of marriage….
